Description: This is a short story about a 83 year old man that dies.  He doesn't understand at first that he is dead. He begins to realize that he is dead and is taken into different rooms to show him his past. He learns things that he didn't know and is shown old memories. At the end he is given a choice that I don't think I could have made.

In Short: This book has an entertaining view point of death. It's a light and quick read.


Pros: This is a short and entertaining story.  It's sad, funny and creative.


Cons: I had no notable issues with this book.

Description: In a small town four girls go missing. A teenage boys name James moves back to his home town only to find that his life has taken a troubling twist. He finds himself talking to ghosts. James suspects that his best friend has murdered the four girls only to find himself being arrested for the crimes.

In Short: I enjoyed this book. This book has so much in it. It takes you through so many twist and turns. It is hard to put down.

Pros: It's packed with action from the beginning to the end. It's easy to put yourself in the setting. The characters are well developed and likable except for the parents.


Cons: About half way through the book I figured out who the murderer was but this didn't ruin the ending.

Description: This is a good book to keep you inspired to be happy.  It has some very deep quotes. Some are light and funny but they are all inspirational.

In Short: I didn't want to put the book down. It's a great book to reread to keep the inspiration in your mind.


Pros: It has a lot of inspirational quotes to keep you feeling positive.


Cons: Some of the quotes were confusing and some were repetitive.

Description: This story is about a twelve year old girl names Jessie that has to move with her family because of her dad's job. They move to a remote place that is reported to be haunted. But instead of ghost problems they have problems with jewel thieves.  Jessie and her dog Oriole find clues to help the sheriff find the thieves.

In Short: This book is a cute story. It's a fast read with likable characters and beautiful scenery. The mystery keeps you wondering until it's all revealed in the end by a clever girl and her dog.

Pros: I could get into the characters and scenery in this book. The setting is in a place of beauty and the cast is very likable. The mystery between the ghosts and thieves had me wondering what was going to happen next.


Cons: I had no notable issues with this book.

Description: Runyon is a man with abilities to see and communicate with ghosts.  A producer talks him into doing a TV show with a paranormal investigating team. They travel to haunted sites and experience a variety of dangerous ghost. The producer informs them of the interesting and tragic histories of the sites they visit and Runyon finds out from the ghosts what really happened. Unfortunately, most of the ghosts are as dangerous in death as they were in life.

In Short: This book was very interesting. It was scary and exciting. I wanted to be there with them investigating the sites. A must read for fans of ghost stories.

Pros: There is a lot of content in this book! A lot of ghostly characters and scary locations.


Cons: Some of the stories were a little drug out.
