The Julius Romeros Extravaganza Part 2 A New Adventure (REVIEW)

The Julius Romeros Extravaganza, Part 2, A New Adventure

Author:  Hayley Lawson-Smith
Category: Fiction
Suitable for: Pre-teens+
My Rating: 4.5 Stars
Format Read for Review: Kindle
Pages: 203

Description: This book is a continuation of the first book, The Julius Romeros Extravaganza, Part 1, The Bearded Girl. The series is about a girl born with a beard who has a very unconventional life. In this installment her side show troupe is taken over by an evil new ring master. Every one of the side show freaks must fight for their freedom.

In Short: The Julius Romeros Extravaganza books are truly unique, interesting stories. A beautiful mix of humor and drama. If you are looking for something really different from other modern fictions I would recommend picking up this book series.

Pros: The characters in this book are incredibly interesting and well developed and really make the book extra special. The main character Abigail is very likable and strong, you cheer for her every step of the way. The plot is fast paced and holds your attention. This book is well written and beautifully articulated. It's a good length and makes for a fun light read.

Cons: My one and only complaint is that the ending left me wanting so much more. I feel like there wasn't a strong conclusion for this book but I'm anxious to see if there will be another book in the series to continue their story! I am eager to see what happens to our heroes.

I was sent a free copy of this book by the author for an honest review.
